We are looking for a proactive Procurement & Operations Specialist to manage and support end-to-end procurement processes, and support our Purchase Order Management System (POMS). In this dual procurement-operations role, you will act as a key liaison between internal teams—including HR, Legal, Finance,...—while maintaining high data accuracy across vendor records and streamlining cross-functional workflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Management
Supplier Research: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, gather portfolio references, and evaluate vendor capabilities.
Data Analysis: Analyze market trends, pricing benchmarks, and supplier performance data to back up strategic sourcing decisions.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
2. System Ownership & Master Data Management (POMS)
Master Data Ownership: Maintain clean, accurate master data for a database of 4,000+ suppliers within the POMS system.
Technical & User Support: Serve as the primary point of contact (Super User) for the newly implemented POMS platform, handling user access, troubleshooting technical issues, and guiding internal staff.
3. HR & Operational Administration
PO Lifecycle Management: Create, track, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Service Orders of Freelancers through their full lifecycle.
External Workforce Support: Coordinate with HR and Legal to handle freelance contracts and manage admin processes for external contractors and service providers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with HR, Legal, Ventures, and Finance to ensure operational alignment and prompt invoice/order processing.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 2–4+ years of hands-on experience in procurement operations, vendor management, or finance.
Software & Data Skills: Strong office suite skills (esp Excel/Gsheets, Word/Docs, fluency in basic use of AI tools). Number oriented with and high attention to detail in Master Data Management. Demonstrated capability to analyse data.
Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across HR, Finance, and Legal departments.
Operational Mindset: Self-starter comfortable with routine administrative workflows (POs, contractor onboarding) but eager to develop and improve CDs internal processes and systems
